Definitions

Sessions: Hourly recording sessions where four microphones, three cameras, and studio lighting are provided. The full fee is paid upfront.
Membership: A monthly membership option where the full fee is paid in advance for a fixed term of one month. This includes 10 hours of studio time, which can be booked in segments throughout the month, subject to studio availability. All sessions include four microphones, three cameras, and studio lighting.

This Agreement is between you (the Member) and MKN Productions Limited, the owner of this website luxepodlondon.com, MKN Productions Limited registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ (company number 15725393).

Starting Your Agreement

  1. Online Process: Membership prices and hourly rates can be found on our website or quoted based on your requirements. By completing the online process, you accept these terms and conditions.
  2. Agreement Commencement:Your Agreement starts when you accept the terms during the online process. You agree to pay any applicable fees, which are displayed at the start and before you confirm your payment.
  3. Session Start: Your Agreement begins from the date of your first session. Book sessions using our online portal. Any overtime beyond booked sessions will incur additional charges and cannot be rolled over.
  4. Compliance: You agree to follow the Rules and use the studio facilities and equipment properly. Consult a staff member if unsure. We are not liable for injuries from improper use.
  5. Age Confirmation: You confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
  6. Liability for Damage: You will be liable for any damage caused to our equipment or facilities due to negligent use.
  7. Personal Details: You agree to update us immediately with any changes to your personal details, including contact information.

Using The Studio

  1. Access Rights: You are entitled to access and use the studio as defined by your Membership or Session until termination or suspension under this Agreement.
  2. Availability: We will make reasonable efforts to provide the rights and privileges of the studio you joined, including access to the studio, equipment, bathroom, and staff for general advice.
  3. Session Cancellation by Studio: We reserve the right to cancel your session with at least 60 minutes’ written notice. If we initiate the cancellation, you will receive a refund equal to the value of your booked session.
  4. Overtime Charges: Overtime for any session beyond the booked slot will be charged at £2 per minute, regardless of membership status.
  5. Media Files: Your media files will be delivered free of charge via a WeTransfer link within five working days after your session. The link will be available for 28 calendar days. MKN Productions Limited is not liable for any lost media after this period.
  6. SD Cards: You have the option to bring your own SD cards for instant file transfer.

Payment

  1. All payments are made to MKN Productions Limited (company number 15725393).
  2. Membership Fees: You agree to pay the full Membership Fee by credit, debit card, or bank transfer. Fees will be confirmed during the online joining process and via email.
  3. Recurring Payments: If your Membership has a recurring fee, you agree to maintain a Direct Debit instruction or recurring international Credit Card payment. The first payment is due on or before the date of your first session, with subsequent payments due on the same day each month until cancellation.
  4. Promotional Rates: If you join under a promotional rate, you agree to pay the discounted rate during the introductory period. After this period, the standard rate will apply unless you cancel.
  5. Rate Changes: We reserve the right to change your Membership Amount or studio rates with at least one week’s notice. You can cancel your Membership or Session within this period. If we do not hear from you, the new rate will apply automatically.

Ending Your Agreement

  1. Memberships Cancellation: To cancel your monthly membership, give seven days’ notice before the renewal date. Email us at info@luxepodlondon.com.
  2. Proof of Cancellation: In case of dispute, you must show that you canceled within the cancellation terms, sufficient to show that you sent your communication before the period expired.
  3. Proportionate Charges: If you request an immediate start date and cancel within the period, proportionate charges will apply.
  4. Minimum Term: After the cancellation period, Membership runs for a minimum of one month, and Sessions run for the booked duration. No refunds for unused periods; contact us to reinstate Membership at our discretion.
  5.  Non-payment: We reserve the right to terminate your Membership if you fail to pay any due amount.
  6. Termination by Us: We may terminate this Agreement and cancel your Membership with immediate effect and written notice without reason, refunding any unused Sessions.

Other Clauses

  1. Non-transferability: Only you, the person or business named, can benefit from this Agreement.
  2. Validity: If any terms are invalid, the remaining terms remain enforceable.
  3. Liability: MKN Productions Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of your property unless caused by our negligent acts, limited to £100.
  4. Changes: We may make reasonable changes to the Membership Rules and Agreement at any time. Check online regularly for updates.
  5. Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.
  6. Record Keeping: Print a copy of this Agreement for future reference.

Session Cancellation Policy:

At our podcast studio, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility while ensuring that our studio resources are managed efficiently. Here are the details:

  1. Full Refund for Cancellations with Ample Notice:
    If you cancel your studio session at least 7 days prior to your booking time, you will receive a full refund. This allows us sufficient time to offer the slot to other clients.

  2. Free Rescheduling Option:
    You can reschedule your booking without any additional charges if you notify with at least 24 hours before the booking and within 7 day before your scheduled session. This option provides flexibility to adjust your plans without incurring extra costs.

  3. Last-Minute Cancellations:
    If you cancel your booking with less than 24 hours’ notice, no refund will be provided, and rescheduling will be at our discretion. This policy helps us manage our schedule and resources effectively, as last-minute changes can significantly impact our operations.
